Tantalizing your senses, DJ Marcelinho will entice you into a world of vibrant movement, colour and sound as he takes you on a journey of traditional and contemporary music and dance typical of the diverse regions of Brazil. Brazil's music and dance captures the very essence of its people. A conglomerate of many colours, Brazil is proud of its rich heritage. From the indigenous people of the jungles of the Amazon to the white European settlers of Portugal and Spain, to the black African Slaves and the latter wave of Italian, Japanese, Lebanese migration - Brazil is truly a melting pot.

Our music and dance derives its roots from Africa but has been further enriched by Indigenous and European influences. From the traditional Samba, Pagode, Batucada, AxE ForrEand Lambada to the hypnotizing and graceful movements of the art of "Capoeira" - the vibrant rhythm and sensual movements will have you mesmerized. Apart from our traditional music and dance, DJ Marcelinho will also be embracing Brazil's more contemporary music with the hottest and latest grooves. More than 500 people have been taking part in this rich cultural experience, an experience that it is so infectious you will be craving for more.

 dj james manly James was a resident DJ in 2003 at the Agincourt Hotel where he used to play to a full house of at least 500 people each Thursday night with a great mix of rnb & commercial dance tracks.

Nowadays James has been playing for " One Night in Brazil" since May 2005.

When asked why DJ? He says the crowd gives him the energy to DJ for hours.

James travels every year to South America, where he mainly goes to Brazil exploring big cities such as Floripa, Porto Alegre, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

He also has been to other countries in South America including Chile, Peru & Colombia.
